What it does

One robot for the whole floor — carpet and hard.

Most sites need two machines: a sweeper for the carpet and entry mats, a scrubber for the hard floor. The C40 collapses that into one. A triple-brush head sweeps, vacuums, scrubs and dust-pushes in a single pass, with no component swaps between surfaces.

It is built for 500–4,500 m² small-to-medium sites and moves cleanly across short-pile carpet, marble, wood, tile, vinyl and stone. At 400 mm cleaning width it threads down a 650 mm aisle, so retail floors, office fit-outs and hospitality back-of-house are all in reach.

When the battery runs low, a tool-free 5-second hot-swap keeps it working between shifts — no dock wait, no downtime. It runs the path you map, then reports what it covered to the dashboard.

Best for

Mixed floors, modest footprints, daily upkeep.

If your site is under ~4,500 m² and mixes carpet with hard floor, the C40 does the work of two machines without the handover between them.

Retail stores

Shop floors and aisles that mix entry-mat carpet with tile or vinyl. One pass cleans the lot before opening.

Supermarkets

Smaller-format and convenience supermarkets. Aisle hard floor plus carpeted front-of-house in a single program.

Offices

Open-plan carpet, kitchenette tile and lobby stone. Daily upkeep without a cleaner walking a machine round the floor.

Hotels

Lobbies, corridors and function spaces that switch between carpet and hard floor across a single level.

Hospitality

Restaurants, cafés and food courts where back-of-house tile meets carpeted dining. Tight 650 mm passage clears table runs.

Clinics & healthcare

Consulting-room vinyl, carpeted waiting areas and corridor tile. Repeatable daily clean on a fixed schedule.

How it works

Map once. Clean every day.

One-day commissioning, then it runs on the schedule you set. The dashboard shows last run's coverage map and any incidents.

Step 01

Map

Our engineer scans the floor, builds the 3D map, sets paths, no-go zones and the schedule. Around half a day on most C40-scale sites.

Step 02

Clean

The C40 follows its path with all four functions engaged — sweeping, vacuuming, scrubbing and dust-pushing in one pass across carpet and hard floor.

Step 03

Swap

At low battery, a tool-free 5-second pack swap puts it straight back to work — no dock wait between shifts.

Step 04

Report

Coverage map, area cleaned, run time and incident log land on the dashboard for your facilities lead.

Australian deployment

The two-machine job, done by one robot.

Plenty of WA sites are too mixed for a single traditional machine — carpeted front-of-house, hard-floor back-of-house, tight aisles in between. The usual answer is a sweeper and a scrubber, two purchases and two service lines. The C40 does both jobs in one pass, which is why it suits retail, office and hospitality sites that don't have the floor area to justify a dedicated heavy unit.

For multi-site retail and hospitality groups the unlock is consistency: the same machine, the same program, the same daily result across every location.

We're an Australian dealer — Fiction Labs Pty Ltd, trading as Perth Robots — with local engineers, local mapping and local parts. Multi-site operators get a fleet-level dashboard across every location and a single point of contact for the lot.

Larger or single-surface sites are usually better served by a dedicated unit — pair the C40 with an L-series scrubber for big hard-floor plates, or an SW-series sweeper for waterless public areas. One management dashboard across the lot, RaaS pricing per robot.

Why Perth Robots

Honest credibility, not just claims.

Engineering-led.

Built by someone who has engineered advanced systems and operated them in demanding environments — we know what these machines can and can't do.

WA-based service, not a reseller.

We deploy and service every unit ourselves across WA. If a robot's down at 2am on a mine site, that's on us — same time zone.

Multi-OEM, honest advice.

We recommend the right robot for your site, not the only one we carry.

Low-risk by design.

RaaS is a flat monthly subscription, not a capital gamble — the risk sits with us. Run the robot as often as you need.

FAQ

Common buyer questions.

What does "4-in-1" actually mean?
The C40 sweeps, vacuums, scrubs and dust-pushes in a single pass, using a triple-brush head — there are no component swaps between functions or surfaces. One program cleans carpet and hard floor on the same run.
What size sites is the C40 for?
It's built for 500–4,500 m² small-to-medium sites: retail floors, offices, smaller supermarkets, hotels and hospitality venues. For larger single-surface floors a dedicated sweeper or scrubber is usually the better tool.
Which floor types can it handle?
Short-pile carpet, marble, wood, tile, vinyl and stone — both carpet and hard floor, which is the C40's main advantage over a single-purpose machine. We confirm your exact surface mix at the site survey.
How tight can it get?
400 mm cleaning width and a 650 mm minimum passage, so it clears standard retail aisles, office walkways and table runs in hospitality venues.
How does it keep running between shifts?
The battery is a tool-free 5-second hot-swap. Drop in a charged pack and it's straight back to work — no dock wait, which suits sites cleaning across back-to-back trading hours.
Is the C40 sold or leased?
Both. Outright purchase with a Care Plan, 2–4 year lease-to-own, or Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS) — a fixed monthly fee covering hardware, maintenance, mapping changes, software updates and SLA support.
